Installation

Let's get started with installing Synth Zaobao Bot v2.

Getting Started​

Get started by downloading the synth2-zb-bot from the github repository at synth2-zb-bot.
You can download the zip file by clicking on the green "Code" button and then clicking on "Download ZIP".

What you'll need​

  • Python with version 3.8 or higher:
    • When installing Python, make sure to check the box that says "Add Python to PATH".
    • You can check if you have Python installed by running python --version or python3 --version in your terminal.
  • Pip:
    • Pip is a package manager for Python. You can check if you have Pip installed by running pip --version in your terminal.

Run the program​

  1. Extract the zip file you downloaded.
  2. Open a terminal and navigate to the folder where you extracted the zip file.
  3. Run the following command to run the file:
python3 main.py
  1. The program will start running and you will be prompted to enter your username and password for Zaobao.
